About
Researcher and professor working on intelligent systems, with experience in universities and research institutions in Brazil and Europe.
I am a professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil, in the Department of Automation and Systems Engineering (EAS). My research brings together machine learning, autonomous agents, neural models of dynamical systems, and control.
My recent work focuses on learning policies for autonomous vehicles, imitation learning, generative approaches to control, and physics-informed neural networks for modeling and control. I also work on recurrent neural networks and reservoir computing, with applications in robotics and industry.
